Lotte from Gadgetville

The main character in the film, the puppy girl Lotte, lives together with her friends Bruno the kitten and Albert the leveret in Gadgetville on the shores of a large sea. Every year the villagers organize a new inventions competition. One of the most famous inventors in the village is Lotte’s father, Oskar. Oskar’s main rival is Adalbert the hare. On the eve of the next inventions competition Lotte and Bruno find a soaked book in the sea. Susumu the bee, a gardener and judo trainer all the way from Japan, climbs out from between the pages.
